Doctrine is important. PastoralStaff.com comes from a bias that the Bible means what it says. There are certain core doctrines that all conservative Christians accept as true. Those are the ones we stand on. Beyond that, we think it’s alright for Christians to have a little diversity of opinion about non-essentials. After all, God has tolerated it for thousands of years.
This doesn’t mean that we accept everyone’s pet doctrine, only that we won’t suggest that they have their pet euthanized because it’s the wrong color or because it barks too loud. The point is, everyone who participates in this website keeps in mind that whatever a person’s pedigree their experience of working as a staff member is probably similar to your own.
