Vision is an interesting thing. God gives us a picture of what he wants a ministry to be like, he provides the resources we need to get there, and then he lets us chart the course. There might be several good routes and even a few that might set us back a few paces. We also might meander off onto some detour because we mistakenly started charting our course by a different star and eventually lose sight of why we set out to begin with. Of course, we might also set out with one goal in mind and then be blown by some unforeseen wind into the place God really wanted us to be in the first place. He just wanted us to get going. It’s easier to steer a ship in motion.

Having said that, here are a few things we’d like to accomplish with this website. We think it would be cool if this really turned out to be from God.

• Links to helpful books.
• An online ministry transition questionnaire to help you figure out whether you are where God wants you to be and when it might be time to leave.
• A salary survey and scale to help you see how your salary compares with other pastoralstaff.com members.
• A spiritual gifts survey to help you reflect on how God has made you.
• One-on-one coaching with an experienced staff pastor.
